You May Not
Agree About Jesus
But You Can’t
Ignore Him

In the United States, it is hard to not see evidence about the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob.

On many license plates it is not uncommon to see the motto “In God We Trust,” throught our towns and cities church steeples dot the skyline and alongside many highways monuments of the three crosses of Christ remind us that, at heart, this is a Christian nation.

Every day the money we carry bares the inscription “In God We Trust.”

By Congressional decree “In God We Trust” is written prominently in stone above the chair of the Speaker, and The House of Representatives affirmed this phrase legally in HR 112-47 as the official motto of the United States.

Buildings in our Nations’ Capitol as well as many others all over the country have ”Anno Domini” - Latin for ”In the year of our Lord.” - etched into their cornerstones.

On Inauguration Day the entire nation sees the President rest his hand on a Bible, and the Chaplin prays for blessing from Almighty God over the proceedings.

Lastly, we all enjoy – regardless of faith or creed – two official federal holidays each year; Thanksgiving which remembers the Christian settlers thanking God for his bounty and protection over our nation and Christmas honoring the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Friend, this message is not meant to make you believe in God or the Bible. All are free to believe or not believe anything we want. From God’s perspective, that is what 'Free Will' is, but as today’s scripture reference says, the evidence of God around us is clear.

Ignoring God - or Not Ignoring God - is a personal choice, and that choice, as always,
Is Entirely Up To You.
