In Greek, the word 'Gospel' literally means “Good Message,”
and what better message is there than to be saved?!?
This is exactly the opposite of a verse that quickly
follows which alarmingly warns:
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against
All Ungodliness and Unrighteousness Of Men,
who hold the truth in unrighteousness.”
Romans 1:18
So here is a clear choice that all people have...
If the GOOD NEWS
is receiving the GIFT OF GOD and the blessing of salvation, then the
WRATH OF GOD is the diametric OPPOSITE of that.
Friend, what do you “Hold the Truth” in?
Receiving and believing the Gospel,
or holding the truth NOT in the Gospel?
