FEAR.
We’ve all experienced it at one time or another.
The first day at a new school, taking a make-or-break final exam,
jumping off the high dive for the first time,
asking someone out you have a crush on,
enduring a major disaster, being alone and helpless,
experiencing a robbery or learning of a serious terminal disease.
This list is endless — but here’s the thing...
Despite the FEAR you once felt YOU ARE STILL HERE,
the world did not end, and that which you once cowered from
in fear and the ghost of that has passed. In retrospect,
it was simply a black void of the unknown
that only had power because you gave it power.
You see, fear is a spiritual force designed to destroy souls.
It is Satan’s primary weapon to move people to respond
to the fear as opposed to God moving to respond in faith.
Just as FEAR is a 'a substance of things not seen'
FAITH is also “The evidence
(Godly assurance)
of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)
The difference is this:
- Faith is developed by believing in God’s Word.
- Fear is developed by believing in Satan’s Lies.
Friend, this is why the Bible reminds us 365 times in the Bible
— once for each day of the year in one form or another —
“FEAR NOT”
Friend, we have a choice when challenging circumstances arise
to follow a faith-path or a fear-path. However, God’s
promise is that He will never
“Leave Us or Forsake Us” (Hebrews 13:5) and
moreover our victory over fear is assured when we know,
internalize, and hold onto this promise:
“We are More Than Conquerors
through Him (Jesus) That Loved Us.”
Romans 8:37
However, what you choose to believe about
False
Experiences
Appearing
Real
is up to you.
