Everything has an opposite.
The opposite of up is down, left is right, and night is day.
Likewise you can look at the reverse of almost every Bible
verse and see its opposite, and when you do,
that opposite often reveals a strong and surprising truth.
As Jesus said in today’s verse in John 8:44,
Satan is “The Father of Lies,”
so if he is the father of lies, then there also must be
an opposite and that is “Father of Truth.”
Jesus said in John 14:6 that he was “The Truth”
and James 1:17 declares that every gift that comes down from
above is from “The Father of Lights”
You see friend, there is good and there is evil,
and there is God and there is Satan. These are two opposites,
and all, be it knowingly or unknowingly, ascribe what is 'true'
or 'good' based on which side you believe is 'The Truth.'
So ask yourself...
'What is Truth?' and from which side
is it found?
