The book of Job is the account of a truly righteous man
who had been blessed with everything, then suddenly was
placed under an unimaginable trial of suffering and loss.
Despite his circumstances he never wavered in his faith
and allegiance to God, though all things around him pointed
to despair and a cursed end.
Job’s life is an example to us that the Lord both gives
blessings — but also allows suffering. We may not understand
it at the time because when severe trial is happening around us —
Remember This — it is not about our circumstances,
but about how we will be purified once we come through the fire.
In Proverbs 25:5 Solomon wrote about how silver is purified by fire,
saying “Take away the dross from the silver,
and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.”
Likewise, that which is impure in us ('the dross')
can only be removed by intense heat, but 'trial by fire'
is also the way to determine if something is in fact true and
faithful to what it represents.
First, trials are temporary and in time will finally resolve.
It may take days, months - or even years - but they WILL resolve.
Second (and most importantly) once you look back at what
you’ve been through it will become clear what God’s plan was all along.
Friend, It Is Not About Circumstances, but the
“Vessel For The Finer” which YOU will become
once you emerge out of it.
God Bless Your Day
Jesus Loves You
