Today there is increasing hostility towards the gospel and the Bible — and this is EXACTLY as Jesus said it would be&#33;
</P>

<P>
In today&#8217;s popular culture God is not only rejected, but openly mocked and ridiculed along with the church and Christians. It is normal and acceptable to make fun of anything Christian because the Bible – perceived as an ancient book of fairytales and superstition – is believed to be completely out of touch with our advanced, enlightened, liberated and high-tech world. Popular social norms of extended sexuality, free abortion, unrestricted drug use, excess materialism and licentious pleasure fly against the so-called &#39;holy god of the bible&#39; while late night comedians and social media take pleasure in making sport with personal attacks and sarcasm.
</P>


<P>
Jesus prophesied this when he said “Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil ” (John 3:19) — and this &#39;darkness hates the light&#39; conflict will NOT stop until Christ returns.
</P>

<P>
Despite this, remember the words of Jesus and PRAY for those who persecute (Matthew 5:44) and the Apostle Paul who said “Overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:21)
</P>

<P>
So brothers and sisters, do not be discouraged. Be strong and vigilant for the faith and despite the way the world treats you, let your light shine so that the world will see the light of Christ.   “And you will be hated by all for my name&#8217;s sake.
But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”
