If you saw signs that said 'Bridge Out,'
'Flooded Road Ahead,'or
'Danger! Radioactive Area'
would you think those were GOOD signs to heed?
Of course you would.
We all appreciate signs like those that will
keep us safe, then why is it that people
bristle when the Bible says
“Thou Shalt NOT?”
and the reason is that our human nature doesn’t
like being told what we can or cannot do.
You see, God’s message manual for living is the BIBLE -
or better understood as an acronym for 'B.asic I.nstructions
B.efore L.eaving E.arth.
In it are over two hundred warnings that clearly say
'Thou Shalt Not,' yet many people choose to
view them more as optional suggestions than serious
instructions on navigating the ins-and-outs of living in this life.
Friend, just as any warning sign we see is a GOOD thing to
keep us safe, do not make the mistake of viewing the
'Thou Shalt Not's as BAD.
They are there for a reason to protect you from the problems that
you will encounter if you decide to continue going down that road.
Thou Shall Nots are there for your ultimate good.
Please do not ignore them.
