Just like the transmission selector in a car, people have one of
three positions about Jesus Christ.
Either they are in NEUTRAL, meaning they have no feeling
or interest one way or another, about Christ or spiritual things,
they’re in REVERSE and are
moving away from Christ or they are in
DRIVE moving towards him.
Now think about this for a moment — because each of these is a choice.
Just as we get into our cars and place our hands on the gear selector,
in the physical world we have to make a conscious choice which gear
to select depending where we want to go. The same is true in your spiritual
(or lack of) spiritual life as well.
Life is full of choices, and the most important choice you can make is
to determine what will happen after your physical life on earth is over.
While you can be right about thousands of things in this life,
If You Are Wrong About Christ, It Doesn’t Matter What
Else You Are Right About.
Friend, you need to make a choice about Christ. Will you make a choice to stay neutral,
move away from him or move towards him?
