In Genesis the Bible says that once sin entered into the world that
that man would have to work hard by the sweat of his brow,
women would suffer in childbearing, and sadness would be
the nature of our way. Since then generations have
suffered disease, decline, and death as sin raged in the
world. While this has been a never ending struggle, the Bible tells us
that there will be a time when all that is SAD
will become GLAD.
This is the great hope of the Bible! Revelation 21 tells us that what
started as perfection in the Eden will one day be restored,
and all that was SAD will indeed become a forgotten memory, and the only thing
that will be TRUE is total love, peace, and oneness with God.
This promise is available to all those that ask God to forgive
them of their sins and seek to follow Him. For those that do
—as today’s scripture promises us—
all the former things will pass away and the only thing that
will remain is that which is GOOD.
