As humans, we will always make mistakes, and while many have no moral consequence
— like forgetting something on your shopping list or not returning a phone
call — there are other mistakes that are moral violations like
telling a lie, thinking bad thoughts or a multitude of other things.
No matter how hard we try, there is not a
single day that goes by that we ALL fail doing what we ought not to do,
or NOT doing what we should do.
The Apostle Paul confirmed this when he wrote, “ALL have sinned,”
[ Romans 5:12 ] so while it is impossible each day to be SINLESS,
it IS possible to Sin LESS.
In this life, our 'Daily Sin Gauge' will never
read 'sinless,' but we can — with God’s help
— live a more pure and honest life, and better yet not be held
to the standard of each tick on the sin gauge! Here’s how...
The Bible promises us that the Holy Spirit can aid us in this because He
“Helps us in our weakness,” but here is the thing...
in order to do that you have to be living
life by doing God’s will and listening to His voice through the Word of God and
be in prayer. As we walk in God’s love, and practice this in our lives, then
“(God’s Love will cover a multitude of sins.” [ 1 Peter 4:8 ]
Friend, while the 'sin meter' will always indicate errors,
the Bible says that for all those that have placed their trust in Christ as Lord and Savior,
that God has not only forgiven but forgotten those sins!
No one can ever live a perfect life, but if your life is hid with
Christ in God, then all your sins will be forgiven!
If you have not done so, ask God right now to disregard your
personal sin meter by asking Him to take on and forgive your
sins through Christ.
