We all know that feeling...you roll out of bed in the morning and somehow you are not looking forward
to what you are facing today. Instead, grab onto the reality of the promise of today’s
scripture, especially when the thought of facing the day ahead isn’t rosy.
While you may not wake up feeling emotionally or physically alive to life, as a Christian you are
ALIVE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS.
That’s great news because the fact is that if you are in Christ
you have been made the righteousness of God and have taken
on His character and are in right-standing with God. Not only that, but you have
many, MANY promises that God is WITH YOU, will not LEAVE YOU, and He LOVES YOU.
As your feet hit the floor each day and you get ready to step out into that 'cold cruel world'
remember that you have a strong advocate standing by you working on your behalf each and every
day as the scripture promises:
“If God be FOR US, who can be Against US??”
Romans 8:21
What greater endorsement can you have each day then THAT?!?
No matter what is ahead today remember to stand on this promise of “Walk in thy way safely,
and thy foot shall not stumble.” (Proverbs 3:23) and you will ALWAYS get up 'on the
RIGHT SIDE of the bed.'
