In this COVID world that seems formless and grey where the unrestricted fresh,
clean air we have always taken for granted and is shielded with masks, it indeed
feels like we are living in “The Twilight Zone.” This is not the world we once knew,
and there is indeed a darkness that causes us to wonder - 'What’s Next?!?'
But despite this, here is an encouraging reminder about darkness and light that we all need today.
When the Spirit of God hovered over the surface of dark waters, movement began and LIGHT came to be.
Our Creator, Almighty God is the same today as He was then and we must trust that He is still moving today
over these dark times on our behalf even if we cannot see it yet with our natural eyes. Don’t let your
heart be discouraged and your faith weakened, but instead stand up tall, open up your eyes, step into the
light, LOOK UP TO HEAVEN, and say this prayer:
“Lord, take this dark shadow out of me and
Shine your light inside of me.
Take this weariness out of me and
Fill me with hope and faith that
You are watching over me,
My loved ones and my country.
Move this darkness from this world and
Let your light shine bright as the morning sun.
Fill my heart and mind with You every day to
Know that I am covered in the shadow of Your wings, and
My life is always nestled in your mighty hands -
No matter what circumstances I may encounter.
Thank you, Father.”
