A centuries old Japanese tradition and artform is
kintsugi ( 金繕い) which is the
ancient craft of taken broken porcelain bowls, cups and vases and stitching them back
together with fine gold into renewed objects that wind out actually being much more
beautiful and valuable then the original piece.
Likewise, God is in the kintsugi business in that when people are broken,
He reconstructs lives such that the repair is better than the original,
and like this artform has shown - also makes those lives more valuable and precious.
While a piece of porcelain cannot say to the master craftsman 'fix me'
when we get broken we can ask THE MASTER CRAFTSMAN to fix our lives,
and He can and will stitch us together with Divine Gold
such that the end is better than the beginning.
Friend if you have been broken due to crushing disappointments, heartbreak, or loss,
the LORD can not only make you whole, but put GOLD where there was once Grief,
and you will go from Crushed to Cherished.
