Many Christians are defeated in their Christian lives - because to be blatantly honest -
they are not seriously engaged in warfare against the “Prince of This World.”
When Satan rebelled against God to make himself like God he fell from heaven and came to
dominate the earth when Adam and Eve handed over the reins to him when they likewise disobeyed God.
Now as an influencer in this world he is desperately on a rampage to steal, kill and destroy as
many people as he possibly can.
The sorry state of so many Christians is their utter absence of being on the offence
to hold His ground and fight for God’s Kingdom. It is time for lethargy to end and time for those
who are REAL Christians to get up off our duffs and fight for Christ and our country!!
While the first half of John 10:10 talks of the destructive goals of Satan,
the last half of that verse promises us abundant life - but that’s only half of the picture.
He also said that this world would have great tribulation (John 16:33.)
He assured us of His love, but He went on to say that the world would hate and persecute
us (John 15:12-13) Christians are being persecuted all over the world.
Will it happen to us? Don’t fall asleep. Be alert!
Friend, are you equipped to stand up for Christ or are you just
going through the motions and 'playing church?!'
Think about it. Are you also willing to stand up against someone who is against your faith
and even willing to die for what you believe? If you can’t answer these questions,
then what are you afraid of?
It is vital for our survival as a Christians to realize that when you became a Christian,
you were drafted into God’s army and are engaged in a battle with an unseen spiritual enemy that
seeks to destroy us. A recent example is COVID-19 which is no accident, but an attack
from Satan through evil people who cooperate with him behind the scenes.
We must now put on the “Whole Armor of God” (Ephesians 6:11), “Take Our Stand” against the
whiles of the devil, and get out of your comfort zone!
This is WAR. Get into it all the way. Stand up for Christ!
You won’t be standing alone. He is standing beside you.
