If you have lived as long as me, then you are shocked at the rapid pace in which the
devil is currently aiming his poisonous arrows to destroy and devour as many lives in
this world as he can.
He promises great and enticing rewards, but they are never lasting, because his ways
are devious and designed to kill, steal and destroy! (John 10:10a) so no wonder
there is so much tragedy and disaster in the world.
In fact, the news is full of atrocious things he is doing every day if you look carefully,
you can see his evil hand in so many things!
Satan (the Devil) is called “The Prince of The Air” which means
that God has given him authority over this realm, but he does not have complete control
over everything, so he has to work very hard to make disasters happen.
When Jesus died for us on the cross, the devil was defeated and crushed,
so now he knows his time is getting very short before he faces his end.
Before he is eventually vanquished, he works terribly hard to cause disasters to happen and
he uses people to get his work done like celebrities to invite people to follow
their perverted ways and among millennials where Satanic worship has also sadly become popular,
and as a result, it’s heart breaking to see their souls and lives being destroyed.
All these people need so much prayer and deliverance from the demonic forces surrounding them.
The good news is that Christians have the Word of God deposited deep inside our hearts
that are powerful weapons to fight the hateful schemes of the devil.
What it takes is using the authority of the Word of God and when we do, we have the
keys to lock him up and wrap him in chains!
1 Peter 5:8 says,“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil
prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
All we need do is be spiritually aware because the devil can cause
disaster in lives IF you give him an open door!
If you close the door on the devil, he can’t come in and start destroying
and stealing from you unless he can lead you into a place of sin, doubt, ignorance or
disobedience. So if he’s been giving you trouble, ask the Holy Spirit to
show you where you’ve let those things in. Then repent and get rid of them.
Once you’ve done that, pull out the weapons God has given you to stop
the devil’s rampage. Don’t sit back and let the devil take over your kids,
the ones you love, your neighbors, or our country. You have amazing POWER over him,
so lock him up in chains so tight that he will never get lose!
Expect the power of God to keep him bound and he won’t be able to put anything
over on you or all those you love and care so much about.
