What Are You “Worth?”
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Matthew 15:13
What is anything “worth?” Well, it all depends on what it is--
and what someone is willing to pay for it.
Physically, all the chemicals in the
average human body are only worth about $160.
Professionally our monetary worth depends on
our skills such that a world class doctor or legal expert could
command thousands a day, but a day laborer or coffee shop worker might
only make a handful of dollars.
Possessions also have value,
so let’s say you have a diamond ring you bought for $10,000 but
buyers will only give you $5,000 for it. So is it worth 10K or 5K?
The answer is it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Personally, what are YOU REALLY “WORTH?”
The answer is that your value is priceless and worth more than all the
money and riches in the world! Why? Because you were purchased with the
most valuable and highest currency ever! The Bible says:
“For ye are bought with a price: therefore
glorify God in your body, and in your spirit,
which are God’s.”
1 Corinthians 6:20
That “price” was the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
Are you “valuable?” YES! Because Jesus Christ died for YOU
and paid for your eternal salvation by laying down his life and shedding
his blood on Calvary”s cross. If you have not given your life to Christ
and accepted this expensive, un-measurable redemption of ultimate wealth,
be redeemed by asking him to redeem you today.
You are worth far more that all the wealth in the world.
God Bless Your Day
