Our founding fathers created a governing framework based on biblical principles,
yet slowly over time “Our Nation Under God” to many groups of people
no longer want God to be involved in their lives.
It’s not hard to see that our beloved America has become ungodly in several ways:
Many are driven by materialism and power; immorality and rebellion are becoming more and more prevalent;
empty philosophies and false doctrines are widely and openly accepted,
and underlying it all is the push to keep God out of the nation’s affairs.
The truth is that this country and the world will continue on to disseminate faulty teachings,
so as a believers in Christ we must be careful and discerning not to compromise our faith and our convictions.
The Word of God is a compass that keeps us headed in the right direction even in the midst of
so many confusing messages. We must do this by consistently filling our hearts and minds
with the truth by reading, believing, and meditating upon the scriptures.
God’s Word also says to “pray without ceasing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
If our minds are focused on Him, unholy beliefs will not take root.
The Word of God is our guidebook which addresses every human experience.
When we take quality time to study it’s pages, the Holy Spirit fills us with confidence and boldness,
enabling us to our lives victoriously, even though we will still face difficulty living in this imperfect world.
You and I have an opportunity every day to be a shining light to someone who may be
off the track following the wrong doctrines; to share our faith with someone who has not yet found Jesus.
