There are times when working in the ministry or doing things for God’s Kingdom that suddenly, harsh, unexpected or even cruel attacks occur. Opposition is at every front, efforts are mysteriously thwarted, and at every turn are roadblocks and setbacks.

If that’s the case, here is some surprisingly good news.

When we are doing God's will, working diligently for his kingdom, living a Christ centered life and especially winning souls for Christ Expect Opposition!

The Devil and his minions (which also includes nefarious and mean-spirited people) HATE seeing the saints of God succeeding at doing his work and stealing souls away from damnation. If things are all of a sudden perplexing, trying, and difficult, consider that we indeed “Do not wrestle with flesh and blood but against (evil) spirits in the heavens” (Ephesians 6:12) Realize that the source of your oppression is not what you are doing wrong but instead what you are doing right!

Jesus even told us to expect this when he said, “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

So Friend, when encountering opposition, Don't Lose Heart! Fight the “Good Fight Of Faith!” and remember that the devil is a defeated foe! Instead of being discouraged be encouraged because these trials are a sign that you are on the right path and fighting the Good Fight.
