Have you ever noticed that when people die, we use many euphemisms to soften the news?

We use phrases that someone has/are:

• Gone
• Passed Over
• Expired
• On the Other Side
• Exited This Life
• Passed Away
• Sleeping with the Angels
• De-Ceased (as in cease to exist)
• At Eternal Rest
• In Repose
• Taken by The Grim Reaper
• “It Was Curtains For Them”

But here is the reality. Of course, life ends for everyone. We cannot escape that fact, but a more important realization is that there is “The HERE” of this world, where we all are standing and walking on the earth, but also an eternal place that is “THE AFTER.”

But Wait!
Where is the ‘AFTER’ part?

Today’s verse in Matthew 25:46 is one of many that gives us either great hope or great pause.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour for your eternal destiny, read the second line in the scripture above, if not then the first line applies to you.

Friend, if you have not done so, choose life in Christ TODAY. Do not hesitate!! The final curtain of life can come at any time, but it can and will be a joyous time in eternity as to this promise:

“...knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven
a better and an enduring substance..”
Hebrews 10:34

The choice of your Hereafter is entirely up to you.
