What Does It Mean
To Worship God?
“Oh come. Let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
For He is our God, and we are the people
of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand.”
Psalm 95:6-7
The word worship means to show intense love and admiration.
It means to show reverence for a deity,
but for Christians not just any deity,
but the One true Almighty God, the Creator of
the universe and all of mankind.
As Christians, we worship God in many wonderful ways.
We worship Him with our mouths in song and praise.
We worship Him with uplifted hands.
We worship Him by living in His presence with joy,
trust, faith and love flowing from our hearts. Our entire lives resonate in worship to our Lord Jesus. He is our Life!
The greatest worship we can give to the Lord is to walk in the grace of God and share His truth wherever there is an open door to share His love with everyone we meet.
My friend, if you want to know the greatest JOY
you will ever know and you have not ever accepted Jesus as your Savior,
all need to do is to sincerely pray this prayer:
Dear Lord,
My heavenly Father, I want to know the Joy in my heart that
comes from knowing and worshiping you and our Son, Jesus.
I have never accepted Him as my Savior, Lord and King, but I do now.
Would you please forgive me for my many sins and accept me as your very own?
I sincerely pray all these things from my heart.
In Jesus name, Amen.
