Have you ever asked yourself where do I go when I don’t know where to go? What do I do when I don’t know what to do? Well, believe me, you’re not alone. I’ve been in your shoes, too!
I’m a southern girl born in a small little country town
in Charleston, Mississippi. My father was a country doctor and my mother,
bless her heart, tried her best to control four rambunctious little boys and me,
a cross-eyed little girl who sang in the mirror 24/7 while we were growing up.
The boys followed my daddy’s foot steps to
become dedicated physicians,
while Michael and I (the musical ones)
struggled with which 'yellow brick' road to follow.
One night while singing in a concert in Nesbit, Mississippi,
a small town south of Memphis, a young woman came up to me and said,
“Jeanne, you need to come to my Bible college and hear
Dr. Barbara Adams teach on Monday morning.”
Something inside my heart clicked “yes” in that moment,
so I showed up that very next Monday for class.
Little did I know that day would change my whole life.
Now, after fifteen years have passed since I graduated from
both Bible College and Seminary, my husband Wayne and I
are partnering with God to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ
around the world on this web site -
Notes On Life -
and anywhere He leads. We both found have found our purpose together with Jesus.
God has a plan and a purpose for you, too. Let His son,
Jesus show you the exact road to follow. The road that will resonate with the gifts
He gave you when you were born. I guarantee you that road has been waiting for
you all along for you to find it. The Bible says it right here too:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
Lean not upon your own understanding, but
in all your ways acknowledge Him and He
will direct your path.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
Open your eyes wide and look up to heaven and speak this:
“Mine eyes look unto the hills from whence cometh my help.
My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2
