Where Are You On The
Gas-Gauge Of Life?

According to the U.S. Center For Disease Control (CDC), the average lifespan for women is 81 and for men 76. This falls very much in line with today’s verse from Psalms in that a 'Score' (being 20 years) works out to a lifetime of between 70 to 80 years. Assuming you have no adverse health problems or serious disease it is reasonable to expect all these “…days of our years…” for this life on earth.

However while you may be blessed with no physical disease in this lifetime, there is a spiritual disease that cannot be overcome in the next lifetime by living a good life, eating right, getting adequate rest and exercise and that is SIN, and when your tank of life-energy hits empty, the question is what happens then?

Well the good news is that there is a way to transfer the 'Car' of your life to another car that will never need a fill-up! The Bible promises us that:

“For we know that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved (i.e. our human bodies), we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, everlasting, in the heavens.”
2 Corinthians 5:1

Friend, where are you right now on the gas-gauge of life? Are you prepared when it reaches “empty?” If not, pray this prayer right now and don’t delay! Because 'three or four score plus ten' is not guaranteed!:

Heavenly Father, I have made grievous mistakes in my life and committed many sins that I confess cannot be hidden from you. For these and all my transgressions I sincerely and humbly ask that you forgive me, and with gratitude I receive the eternal life you promised through the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross to pay for my sins. Fill me with your life spirit that will never grow empty! I ask this from my heart, in Jesus’ name - AMEN
