The Root Cause For
Today’s Problems

“I have said these things to you,
that in me you may have peace.
In the world you will have tribulation.
But take heart;
I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33

These are TURBULANT times, and with the rapid pace of the world today we are left with unease and uncertainty. With all that is going on, it’s easy to be thrown off balance with the daily rise and fall of social disorder and division of unity, uncertain financial markets, god-like AI technology and so much more that trying to absorb and keep up with it all can be overwhelming.

We never know what we’re going to hear what has happened next on the news, so it’s understandable that we might become discouraged and lose heart. But basing all our hope on man’s ability to solve problems or to modify a situation is not the answer.

The root cause of problems in our world is not political, financial, or social but spiritual. It all comes down to man’s sinful nature that has been in enmity with God since Adam and Eve. Wars, greed and selfishness have continued all throughout time and why? Because of SIN there is - nor can there be - Peace On Earth. Sin prompts us to lookout for ourselves and pursue what we want. No matter how intelligent, skilled or talented we are, our sinful nature is still not at peace until we come to know and trust Jesus Christ as our Savior and are reconciled with Him as our Lord. Then and only then will be harmony with one another.

When we give our hearts to Jesus it doesn’t matter how much life changes around us from day to day, because we have a firm foundation that will never be shaken. (Isaiah 28:16). Our only true hope and peace rests only in God! The only answer of living your life towards peace is to be in Christ and stay close with Him by reading His Word and including Him in everything you do.

If you don’t know Jesus, let’s pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, I want to have peace in my heart with all the uncertainty of the world around me. I want to give my heart to you and experience Your peace. Please forgive me of my sins and anything that is not pleasing to you. Help me to be strong and courageous, because I need you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

God Bless Your Day
