The Commission of Omission
Is
Without Excuse

“For the invisible things of him
From the creation of the world are clearly seen,
Being understood by the things that are made,
Even his eternal power and Godhead;
So that they are WITHOUT EXCUSE.”
Romans 1:20

WithoutExcuse we see the miracle of life in and around us.

From the darkness of winter bursting into the new life of spring, to the beautiful birth of a newborn baby or the majesty of a thousand stars alighting the night sky it is clear that the hand of 'something greater' than ourselves is - and has been - at work.

It is often easy to take all these miracles of life for granted as we rush through the constant scrolling of day to day living without giving much thought to the power that infuses not only the world and universe, but the very breath and heartbeats that we assumably enjoy every day.

Today’s scripture verse from the Book of Romans reminds us that what if we were to stand before the Almighty, having never given thanks for the life and light given to us in this life and recognizing where it came from what would we be able to say? that we would indeed be standing there dumbfounded and clearly Without Excuse
