An often misunderstood verse is Ephesians 5:15 which says
“Be FILLED with the Holy Spirit” —
and this old gasoline company ad gives us a very
easy to understand analogy on what this means.
The most powerful Ferrari will not go very fast OR far
without gasoline, and this is just like our life in Christ.
When we likewise are
“Filled with the Holy Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18)
that ENERGY gives the engine the ability to create POWER!
As a matter of fact, in automotive technology the reason why
some cars are more powerful than others is their ability
to use more fuel and Quickly convert it into more Power,
but this means we have must have a powerful ENGINE! But what is that?!?
As believers — just like a V12 Ferrari — this requires two things.
First, how willing are you to have your tank
Filled With The ENERGY
Of The Holy Spirit?
And second, How DYNAMIC
Is Your ENGINE Of FAITH effectively operating to convert
that energy into the SPIRIT OF POWER?
Friend, anyone can go through life driving a simple economy car,
but it takes a mature driver to handle a powerful V12.
With God, “All things are possible,” but that leaves two questions...
