The Great Gap Between
“IN HIM”
&
“ABOUT HIM”

“For God so loved the world,
That he gave his only begotten Son,
That whosoever believeth
IN HIM
should not perish,
But have everlasting life. ”

John 3:16

Glass-Bridge John 3:16 is the most famous and commonly repeatedly verse in the Bible, and because it is so familiar it is easy to miss two key words that are at the core of what God is saying to people in the world.

You see, there is a big difference between believing 'about' something and putting your full faith and believing 'in' something.

For example, China is famous for tourist attractions where you can walk on glass bridges. Some, once seeing the bridge in person certainly know ABOUT IT, but do not have confidence to believe IN IT enough to trust their life ON IT.

Likewise, while many people believe 'about' Jesus - that he existed and is a significant historical figure - that alone is not a basis for putting faith IN Christ as the only way to eternal life

Friend, forgiveness of sins, salvation, and eternal life is found in Him who said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” So a question you might ask yourself is…

Do you believe this ABOUT what he said, or believe IN what he said?
