God’s Word
Is INSPIRING
“All scripture is given by
Inspiration of God
And is profitable
For Doctrine, Reproof, Correction,
and Instruction in Righteousness.”
2 Timothy 3:16
There are many ways to be inspired from beautiful sunsets,
majestic mountains, or a full starry-lit night,
but the inspiration that God gave to His disciples is different.
The word inspiration means 'a Spirit (breathed) IN,'
and this is exactly how God created man when He breathed on Adam
and he became a living soul.
In a similar manner, when a thought comes to
life inside of us it is likewise 'breathed into' us,
and we’ve all experienced inspiration at one time or another,
but today’s scripture in particular is talking about the
special inspiration given to the disciples in writing the
New Testament so that generations later could be instructed
and enlightened through God’s word.
While many great authors have written profound books,
none can compare to the Bible! Because as Hebrews 4:12 says:
“The word of God is alive and active.
It is sharper than any double-edged sword because
it penetrates down to the dividing of soul and spirit
and the joints and marrow and it judges the
thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
Friend, no other book can transform, enlighten, or
INSPIRE the heart, soul and mind like God’s Word!
Just as it was with the disciples,
the Holy Spirit continues to inspire and 'breath into us'
the truth of scripture if you open your
heart to God’s Word. When you do you will
AMAZED at the inspiration that you’ll experience!
