The Way To
Eternal Life Is
Going Against The Crowd
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for
Wide is the gate, and BROAD is the way, that
Leadeth to destruction, and
MANY there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and
NARROW is the way, which leadeth unto life, and
FEW there be that find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14
Jesus taught in Matthew 7:13-14 about two distinct roads.
One is a 'Broadway' along which MANY are walking,
but the other is a 'Narrow Way' upon which FEW travel.
Christ warns that this first road leads to destruction,
but that the second road to eternal life.
It is natural to picture these as two separate roads,
but if you think about it, they’re really the
Same Road — but people are heading
in Opposite Directions.
That’s why it’s hard to be a Christian
in this world because we are constantly going against
the grain of what many believe is normal,
acceptable or true.
Friend, we are all walking along the same road.
One way leads to life, and the other to destruction -
but remember this; it is NEVER too late to
CHANGE DIRECTION.
