Stand Strong For Christ And The Gospel
“For I am not ashamed of The gospel of Christ For it is the POWER of God Unto SALVATION To EVERYONE that believeth To the Jew first, and also To the Greek.”
Romans 1:16
In a world that is becoming more anti-Christian,
it is increasingly harder and harder to stand
against a growing majority that continue to move
further away from God. Yet the very next verse
in Romans encourages us that, despite obstacles that
appear in sharing the literal 'Good News'
of the Gospel that “the righteousness of
God (is) revealed from faith to faith: as it is written,
the just shall live by faith.”
You see, regardless of how vehemently people reject
the message of salvation Christians must stand strong
and continue to unabashedly proclaim the gospel despite
the opposition, ridicule, mockery, or derision of others.
This is the essence of Jesus’ example on the cross
towards those that had unjustly and wrongly persecuted him,
that we also must both love those that are rejecting God
and pray for them that are blind to God’s message of
deliverance, salvation, and restoration.
As 2 Corinthians 5:7 says,
“We walk by faith, not by sight,”
so do not let the storms of and by this world deter
you from standing strong in the face of antagonism.
As John 3:16 proclaimed,
God So Loved THE WORLD –
and that means EVERYONE!
If He so loved them, so we also must
love them as well, despite what others say or do.
As Jesus said:
“BLESS them that curse you, do
GOOD to them that hate you, and
PRAY for them which despitefully use you, and
persecute you”
Matthew 5:44
